My clients often engage me to profile their own customers. In the case of BPW Transpec, this involves travelling to meet with and interview businesses about what's made them successful, hurdles they've had along the way and their plans for the future. For my clients, it's a chance to promote their diverse customers to the world.
The client
For the past seven years, I've been meeting and interviewing transport companies of all sizes and specialisations right around Australia.
They're often family businesses located in regional towns or depots near the docks. It's a niche world for a city-based writer and one I've loved being part of. My client, BPW Transpec, makes heavy-duty axles for road trailers and transport. It's niche but also broad. To date I've interviewed 80+ Australian companies.
